Directions to Trehaven Manor

By Car

From Plymouth

Cross the Tamar Bridge on the A38 at Plymouth - you are now in Cornwall. Follow the A38 for approximately 8 miles, then take the first exit from the roundabout at Trerulefoot A374 sign posted Looe. After 1.5 miles turn right A387. The A387 becomes the B3253 and after about 7 miles and you will descend the hill into Looe. You will see The Globe pub on the left. The entrance to the hotel is immediately after the pub, however the turn into the driveway is quite difficult from this direction, so continue along for 100 meters, then make a U turn at the Texaco garage and approach the drive from the opposite direction. The hotel is at the top of the driveway

From Bodmin

From Bodmin follow the A38 towards Plymouth. After about 2 miles after Liskeard turn right onto B 3252 - This is an odd junction - as you need to be in the right hand lane of the dual carriageway to access the off ramp. Follow the B3252 for about 2 miles, then the road becomes quite narrow, then becomes the A387. Contine along this road for about another 2 miles, then at the bottom of the hill the road bears left and follows the river into Looe. You will see The Globe pub on the left. The entrance to the hotel is immediately after the pub, however the turn into the driveway is quite difficult from this direction, so continue along for 100 meters, then make a U turn at the Texaco garage and approach the drive from the opposite direction. The hotel is at the top of the driveway.

From St Austell

Follow the A390 heading towards Liskeard. Pass though Lostwithiel and continue along for about 5 miles. Just before the village of Middle Taphouse turn right onto the B3359 - continue for about 10 miles. After Pelynt - at the T junction, turn left onto the A387 towards Looe. As you enter Looe, cross the bridge over the river, and follow the road to the left. Pass the Texaco garage on your left. The entrance to the hotel is about 100m on your right - just before The Globe pub. The hotel is at the top of the driveway.

By Train

The train from London Paddington to Liskeard is approximately 4.5 hours.

The Liskeard to Looe train leaves from a side platfrom at Liskeard station. Cross over the track by the bridge (If you are coming from London / Plymouth) then walk down the hill towards the branch line platform

The journey from Liskeard to Looe is 30 mins. It's one of the UK's most scenic branch lines - enjoy the views.) At Looe station we are just across the road, to the right of The Globe pub. If you need help with bags etc - call us and we will pick you up 01503 262028

A tip when buying your tickets. It's sometimes cheaper to buy separate tickets from your home to Plymouth and then from Plymouth to Liskead, then pay on the train from Liskeard to Looe. Also if you book early you can sometimes get a first class upgrade for only a few pounds more.

By Bus

National Express goes to Plymouth & Liskeard, Mega Bus to Plymouth. The journey from London is about 5 hours. When you get to Liskeard, call us on 01503 262028 and we'll arrange to pick you up if public transport times don't work 

Local buses: 573 runs from Polperro to Liskeard, 572 runs from Polperro to Plymouth. Both services stop very close to Trehaven Manor
