...You'll see The Globe pub on the left and Looe Train Station on your right. The entrance to the hotel is immediately after the pub. However, the turn into the driveway is quite difficult from this direction, so continue along for 100 metres, then make a U-turn at the petrol station and approach the drive from the opposite direction. The hotel is at the top of the driveway.

Trawlers on the Quay

Trawlers, overlooking the river on East Looe Quay, is one of Cornwall’s premier fish and seafood restaurants. You can enjoy an evening of fine food and wine, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Fish and seafood is purchased daily, fresh from the quay. The menu changes every day, so visiting more than once during your stay is worthwhile. Trawlers offer you the opportunity to taste the very best seafood Looe can offer, such as Cod, Turbot, Sole, Sea Bass, Monk Fish, John Dory, Lobster, Crab and Scallops, subject to availability. Also available are alternatives such as Beef, Duck and Vegetarian cuisine.

The Old Sail Loft

The Old Sail Loft is tucked away from the main road and overlooks the harbour. The restaurant is divided into two sections, the “Cellar” and the “Loft”. They serve excellent steaks and seafood.  Dominic and the staff will always offer you a warm welcome. If you book early their upstairs window table has a fabulous view over the harbour.  The Sail Loft is well worth a visit whilst you are in Looe.

Mawgans of Looe

Mawgan’s, which can be found close to Looe Beach, is a culinary experience not to be missed!  All of their food is slow cooked – i.e. made to order from local produce, which gives it that special quality. From the moment you step through the doors you are given a warm and friendly welcome from your hosts, Chris and Jane. Although the cuisine is mainly Cornish, from finest fish caught daily and landed at the quayside, to juicy steaks and healthy vegetarian options.
